Things to do/ Places to go on a weekend
« on: March 10, 2015, 03:41:35 pm »

1. Food trip at Maginhawa St.
2. Art in Island, Cubao
3. Ace water spa
4. BGC (although medyo sawa na ako dito)
5. Greenfields district
6. Restaurants in Marikina (any recommendations?)
7. Metropolitan Museum
8. Manila Ocean Park
9. Harbor Square

I can't really include amusement parks like star city kasi mahiluhin si bf eh. sayang lang pera.
Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks sisses!!! ;D

Here's my list lately:

- Walking tours in Manila kasi history buff ako and game naman si hubby to explore din
- Visit museums and art galleries
- See new musicals/plays, like right now may production dito ng La Cage aux Folles
- Biking, nahilig na din ako mag bike because of hubby so we go around UP Diliman and BGC
- Quick getaways like a weekend in Tagaytay or kahit staycation in hotels in the city
- Weekend markets like sa Salcedo and Legaspi. There's also this Gourmand Market thing on March 27-29 sa BGC na gusto.kong puntahan kasi yung ilang food bloggers that I follow pupunta dun and I want to see them hehe. Pag na-interes ako sa events posted on Insta, I make a note of it on my phone.

Actually interested ako dun sa Mystery Manila kaya lang parang mas masaya yung sa group of 4 or more.

History buff din naman kami so maeenjoy namin yung mga old churches and museums.

Ay I have to add this on my list Miao Cat Cafe. I'm not really a fan of cats but their concept is interesting. Plus the artist who did the wall murals is a former schoolmate. :)

Anyway, I'm not really that concerned sa traffic kasi weekend naman. Tsaka ok lang sakin magdrive paminsan minsan. If glorietta lang kasi kami, di nako nagddrive.

Parks are also ok with me. But medyo matagal na rin yung last time na nagawa namin yun.

Dito kami nagsstroll before:
-Luneta
-Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife
-CCP area/ baywalk

This coming weekend:
Saturday: Since mahirap magpurchase ng ticket online for UAAP volleyball finals, we decided na lang manood sa TV at my friend's house. Barbecue and pizza party na lang.
Sunday: Shopping at Greenhills

The following weekends:
-Tagaytay
-biking na lang sa place

- Walking tours sa Binondo for foodies, super mabubusog ka.  And walking tours sa Manila area for history/culture buffs.  Or if you're not a fan of walking, alam ko meron din jeepney and bus tours.  If you want to save money, you can even do this on your own, no need to pay a tour guide.  Research lang and a decent map, and you're good to go.

- Take a walk sa parks, there's lots to choose from.

- Go to UP Diliman, pwede ka magjogging dun, ride your bike, magpicnic.  There was even a time when may nakita akong mga batang naglalaro ng piko and tumbang-preso.

- Visit different churches.  Aside from admiring their beautiful architecture, you'll also have the opportunity to hear uplifting messages.

- Take a weekend class, like pottery or a language class.

Tomorrow we will have a day trip around Antipolo.
