I had a horrible experience sa house renovation ko last December e.. until now nakatiwangwang pa kitchen ko and may mga need pa irepair at gawin...

For modular cabinets, I always go to IDO Contracts/IDO (Interior Design Options), my former employer.  IDO Contracts handles modular kitchen cabinets and restaurant contract furniture and IDO handles furniture usually for residential use.

They use BLUM hardware with lifetime warranty and HMR (high-moisture resistant) boards for the carcases.

Thanks for this! I just messaged them thru their FB page and mabilis sila sumagot. I hope mabilis din sila mag-send ng quotation nila. I also asked about the warranty but they said 3 years lang daw? Not sure if this is for the cabinet or the Blum hardware. I'll clarify na lang when I receive their quotation. I also hope they're more affordable than what Siematic gave me.

I like modular ktichens. Parang minimalist kasi ang dating nila. On a different thread, I expressed na ang dream house ko eh condo unit na minimalist ang interiors. I think ok ang modular kitchen for that plan of mine. Kaya lang, para yatang medyo mahal siya. Well, puede rin naman siguro na 'yung suking carpenter nalang namin ang gumawa, di ba? I mean, I plan to go around nalang ang look for modular kitchen models na puede kong pagayahin. I remember yung house ng cousin ko, ang linis tingnan ng kitchen nila kahit may nagluluto. Parang ang sarap tumambay doon kasi feeling clean ka palagi. That's what an ideal kitchen is for me kasi; clean and tidy. Of course, it's where we cook our food, di ba?

It's also good to check out the kitchens in restaurants. Again, they might be expensive, but then you can always call on your suki, di ba?

Ours right now is San Jose. 3.5 years old. No damage naman or anything but i really hate the look of mdf 😒 tiniis ko lang to appease husband. Anyone here has a siematic system?

for condo unit kaya possible na cabinet made by carpenter lang? Wondering kun pano ipapasok sa unit yun or dun na lang sa loob ng unit assemble. May nakatry na kaya dito na yun mga cabinets is made of wood talaga sa condo nila?

^madalas kasi yung mga pinapagawang cabinet sa condo custom made. sukat na siya pagdating sa condo inaassemble na lang

^I see. I'm thinking kasi kun modular cabinet ang kunin or magpagawa na lang sa karpintero na gumagawa ng mga traditional cabinet for the kitchen and bedroom cabinet sa condo.

mas maganda kasi yung mga modular cabinets (mas bagay din) sa condo as compared sa papagawa ka sa karpintero. yun nga lang mas mahal siya talaga

^oh, parang mas matibay pa rin kasi yun mga traditional cabinet. Pero I agree mas bagay sa condo nga yun mga modular cabinet.

Naku I went to Simply Modular yesterday, hindi ko gusto yung mga panels nila haha plastic pala yun and ang tigas.. Parang hirap upuan as sofa hehe. Pero sa kids' room kinoconsider ng husband ko. Ang ayaw ko lang is ikaw magbubuo haha parang ang hassle.

Beware of Cusm Furniture Shop owned by Mel and Cindy Custodio.  We had our kitchen cabinets done by them, and it turns out they used MDF even though the signed contract states they're supposed to use plyboard or solid wood. 

The ironic thing is that sila pa ang nagalit sa akin when I labeled them as scammers.  Take note, Mel Custodio is my father-in-law's first cousin.  If they can do that to us, what more for other people they're not related to?

I agree. Sablay talaga sa trabaho yung Kookai Modular Systems sa Taguig. Overpromise, galing mag-sales talk and present ng pictures, pero in actuality, palpak. DON'T HIRE kasi hindi maasahan. Pati suppliers nila nag rereklamo, hindi nagbabayad daw ng utang.
