Vicki Belo, 62, is one of the country's most stylish women. A quick look at her Instagram feed will show you her on-trend designer ensembles from head to toe.
Some of her favorites include Louis Vuitton, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Emilio Pucci, Moschino, and Hermes. (Oh you know, the ush...#agirlcandream)
Vicki said she has always seen clothes as a "mood enhancer... a fun thing."
She added, "When I'm sad, I put on a happy color then I feel better," the celebrity beauty doctor told PEP.ph at the launch of Vice Ganda and Bang Pineda's collaboration on June 4.
"I love clothes more than jewelry. I really love clothes, and Hayden and I are the same.
"We're having so much fun fitting clothes. Like today, we're kinda dressed alike. It's kinda like a costume."
She knows that some people think her OOTDs are not age-appropriate.
"I cannot say na I dress for my age. Usually, that's what a lot of people are saying.
"Like now, may butas-butas yung pants ko. So parang... I want to dress to make me happy. It's not for other people."
Vicki encourages women to play it up a bit, to dress up and explore different looks.
"Dressing is one of the ways to stay energetic and young," she said.
"Don't dress your age and feel your age and parang your body should still be fit, you should work out.
"Age is just a number. Sabi ko nga, people shouldn't know your age."
The beauty doctor added, "Dressing is one of the easiest ways to make yourself confident, make yourself happy.
"Basta keep yourself fit, every thing is about maintenance. Huwag mo pabayaan ang sarili mo."
Does she get affected by negative comments about her OOTDs?
"I usually don't read naman. Nakita ko the other day parang, 'Naka-shorts ka pa, parang you're too old for shorts.'
"Parang ako, 'Ha? Okay.' Naba-bother ako kasi let's say, there are a thousand good comments.
"And then there's one bad comment. That will stick, di ba? So sometimes, I just don't read na lang.
"I just tell my staff to read 'tapos if there's anything I should know, then they'll tell me.
"Yung mga thank you, the good ones, I thank them naman."
