And if you want to try this oh-so-summery 'do for yourself (even on short hair!) we found two both extensive guides created by Milabu of YouTube. Before you try these hairstyles, arm yourself with sea salt spray (or any texturizing sprays), hairpins, elastics, and a pretty bandana or scarf.
The first one discusses the basic styles you can easily do in under five minutes: the messy bun, a high bun with a posh scarf bow, a sexy half updo, a French twist (done with spin pins that you can get from department stores), and a retro, pinup style bun.
But if you want MORE, Milabu teaches 'dos that require more elbow grease yet are still relatively easy. She features the following hairstyles: a low ponytail with a twist, three types of messy donut buns, two versions of French twists, two kinds of rolled 'dos, a pompadour with loose waves (calls for a curling iron or straightener), and a halo hairstyle with beachy waves.
