Most of us think that using a primer is just an extra and unnecessary step in our makeup routines. That is, until we saw this photo:

Our skin naturally has an uneven texture due to pores, fine lines, and facial hair: makeup primer fills in these micro gaps to create a smooth canvas for our foundation, BB creams, tinted moisturizers, or concealers. In the image, the orange skin represents your face, and you'll notice how the base makeup looked evenly-distributed on the side with a primer on.
