Take actress and philanthropist Angel Locsin, who recently shared a selfie sans any glam on Instagram.

Having just woken up, the actress swiftly captioned: “This is me kapag toothbrush lang ang labanan sa umaga lol. No makeup, no filter, no suklay, and of course—no ligo.”
She also hinted at a possible new summer ‘do, asking her followers for suggestions.
All glowing skin and rumpled tresses, it would be a disservice to call the actress brave just for doing so, especially since she has always been the real-life epitome of her iconic superhero role Darna, from standing up for her social advocacies to unabashedly owning up to her body.
Last September, she penned the most empowering message: “Your body, your rules. Just don't forget to love every inch of you in the process, no matter what other people may say. You are more than your weight or how you look. What's important is how you feel and think of yourself. Shine. Don't let the perception of others dim your light.”
