Just about done with your shampoo and conditioner? Instead of heading to the grocery to stock up (and buying more plastic bottle to needlessly throw away), try this pop-up refilling station instead.

Unilever Philippines has just launched All Things Hair Refilleries in three Ayala Malls: Trinoma, Glorietta 3, and Alabang Town Center. The stations will feature hair care products from Dove, Sunsilk, Cream Silk, and TRESemmé.

Refilling your old containers saves you money since you'll only need to pay for the weight of the product you're getting. If you forget to bring your own container (though we highly recommend that you lug as many as you can along), you can purchase recyclable bottles at the Refillery for only P10 each.

As an added bonus for those who keep plastic bottles and sachets for recycling, all Refillery Stations accept empty plastic containers that will be upcycled with the help of the Linis Ganda Recycling Network and the Villar SIPAG Foundation.

The pilot run will be from March 23 to April 14, 2019. The project is part of the #BeautyThatCares initiative.

"This is just the beginning," shares Unilever Vice President for Beauty and Personal Care Dorothy Dee-Ching. "We hope to be able to roll out the Refillery in more areas in the Philippines, as well as extend it to other brands."

New natural releases to try

Aside from the product refilling stations, new lines of your favorite brands have also been released under the #BeautyThatCares initiative, so if you're into sweet scents and natural ingredients, then you may want to try these:

Dove Nourishing Secrets

Dove's newest natural collection is based on different beauty rituals from around the world. For your tresses, there's the Hair Boost Ritual line that utilizes cone flower to promote hair growth and white tea for strand health. For your body, you can try the Relaxing Ritual with contains lavender; and for your underarms, the Healing Glow Ritual with lotus flower extract and rice water can help even out your skin.

Love Beauty and Planet Summer Range

Launched in the Philippines in January 2019, Love Beauty and Planet now has new product offerings featuring locally produced coconuts: the Coconut Oil and Ylang-Ylang collection for moisture, and the Coconut Water and Mimosa flower collection for gentle cleansing. These are guaranteed vegan and cruelty free, plus they're also made to wash off faster, which means you spend less later in the shower.
