If you’re a fan of heavy frames, this look’s for you. As a rule, thick, solid frames call for something stronger than a natural makeup look, and a red lip paired with a winged eye perfectly accentuates any bold or dark glasses.

STEP 1: BASE
1
Start off with foundation. With glasses, the tendency is to oil up faster around your nose and cheek area, so stick to an oil-free formula if you want to stay shine-free.

STEP 2: CONCEALER
2

This step is crucial if you suffer from dark circles. Since a heavier frame casts a shadow along the undereye area, make sure to use a brightening concealer to avoid looking tired.

STEP 3: BROWS
3
Another tip for thick frames: the brows have to match. If there is only one rule a glasses wearer should heed, it’s to always fill in the brows to match the strength of the frame.

STEP 4: EYELINER
4
Don't bother with mascara (it makes it awkward when you blink); instead, concentrate on lining your eyes and getting as close to the lash line as possible.

STEP 5: MAKE A WING
5
If you have trouble winging out your eyeliner, draw on a guideline using concealer and trace it back with black eyeliner. Then, clean up with a cotton swab dipped in makeup remover.

STEP 6: LIPSTICK
6
Since there’s so much going on at the upper portion of your face, balance your lower half out by painting on a bright lip.
