Celebrity engagement announcements on Instagram is nothing out of the norm. So when we saw Yam Concepcion’s heartwarming engagement photo taken in Niseko, Japan nothing seemed amiss—until we saw the date she wrote in the caption.
Yam Concepcion reveals she's been engaged for two years now
"A thousand cranes YES ???? @mrcuu 12.31.18 11:59pm," Yam shared, revealing that the photo she just posted was actually taken TWO YEARS AGO back in December 2018 when she and her boyfriend were on vacation at the skiing capital! Now, that’s one difficult secret to keep! The couple was clad in matching black winter outfits when the actress said yes, which definitely made their photos in the snow a lot more dramatic.
Fellow celebrities were quick to comment on the announcement and expressed their excitement and best wishes for Yam Concepcion and her beau.
Her previous post on Instagram revealed that she’s currently building her home with fiancé Miguel Cu Unjieng in the US. It’s safe to say that their space is turning out to be an aesthetic minimalist haven!
