The rumored feud between Ina Kapatid Anak co-stars and ex-best friends Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador did not, in any way, prevent either of them from having a memorable Valentine’s Day. While Maja spent her day aboard a helicopter en route to Tagaytay with Gerald Anderson, Kim received an equally romantic surprise from her suitor and love team partner, Xian Lim.

PEP.ph reports that Kim was with her loved ones in Subic when she received a phone call from Xian, who asked her to go to Subic Yacht Club. Upon arriving, she found out that her leading man had a surprise waiting for her.

“Then, noong pagpunta, may pa-yacht si Kuya! Nagulat naman kami!” she said. “Kasama ko ‘yong pamangkin ko, ‘yong ate ko, at saka isang kaibigan ko. Ayun, nag-ikot kami for three hours at may pa-design naman siya sa yate (Then, when we arrived, he had a yacht! We were surprised! I was with my family and a friend. We went around for three hours and he even decorated the yacht.)."

Kim also said that she did not expect such a romantic gesture from Xian.

“Siya ang taong full of surprises!” she said. “Nakakatuwa, kasi panibagong experience for me. Hindi ko pa nararanasan ‘yong ganun, may surprise-surprise… Natutuwa ako kasi dumadaan talaga siya sa tamang way para iparamdam sa isang babae ‘yong ganun (He's the kind of guy who's full of surprises! It's nice, because it's a new experience for me. I've never experienced being surprised like that... I'm happy because he really makes an effort to make a girl feel that way.).”

However, Kim also insisted that she and Xian aren’t in a relationship yet.“Kami? Siguro siya na ‘yong masasabi kong best friend ko, ang taong masasabihan ko ng lahat (I think I can say he's my best friend, the person whom I can tell everything to),” she said.
