It has an all-star cast.

The plot is...interesting, to say the least.

If you’re a fan of psychological thrillers that’ll keep you up at night, then Bliss is the way to go; otherwise, it’s still a film worth watching thanks to its standout storyline. Just make sure you don’t watch alone!

It gives you a glimpse of what it’s really like to be a celebrity.

Some people think that being a star is all glitz and glamour when in reality, there’s still a definite balance of the good, the bad, and the ugly. Iza Calzado’s character, Jane Ciego, depicts one of the many struggles stars face when it comes to being famous – the fans, the schedule, and the pressure to deliver perfection in every way.

The whole team put in a lot of effort in making the film.

“Sobrang hirap, pero working with Iza was fun,” Jerrold Tarog tells FemaleNetwork.com. Even the 34-year old actress enjoyed making the movie and shared how it was working with the team. “It was fun. Honestly I couldn’t be as social as I normally am because I really had a lot of scenes so parang hindi kami masyadong nakapag-bond sa set. I was always preoccupied or too tired I was na ‘Jane Ciego’ already.”

The actress also tells FemaleNetwork.com that everyone did great. “Masaya sa set and mabilis yung work so parang feeling mo na-maximize talaga yung araw mo kasi prepared na prepared si Jerrold and yung team niya.”

When asked how she prepared for the role, she jokingly said she didn’t have to since she was ‘baliw na’. “Nakita niya sa mata ko; it shows,” she laughed. “Sakto lang because I came from an acting workshop at that time; classes in L.A., siguro nakatulong talaga yun. Kahit hindi siya parang script analysis, it was audition technique pero nag-improv din ako. Nakapahinga rin ako bago noon.”

She also said that she was able to rest for seven weeks before they started filming, “Di ako nag-taping or shooting, I think malaking bagay yun – fresh ako noon; I had a fresh take on a lot of things.”

It’s still in cinemas now; here’s the complete schedule.
