MGM and Warner Bros. have announced that the Tomb Raider reboot starring Alicia Vikander will arrive in cinemas on March 16, 2018. A brand new film based on the best-selling adventure video games has been mooted for some time, but things have started moving quickly since it was revealed in April that the Oscar winner had signed on to play British archaeologist Lara Croft in the film. Roar Uthaug is in the director's seat for the movie, with shooting expected to start early next year.
