If you’re in you’re 30s, you probably grew up in a world full of Thalia telenovelas. After all, she’s considered one of the most well-loved foreign actresses to have graced '90s Filipino television. Remember how hundreds of new moms named their daughters "Thalia," "Marimar" or "Maria Mercedes" after her popular roles?
Through the years, Thalia never lost her charm, as proven by how simply stunning she was during the 2019 Met Gala.
The Met Gala is a yearly event in New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute that marks the opening of its fashion exhibit and aims to raise funds for the museum. This year’s exhibit entitled "Camp: Notes on Fashion" is all about exaggeration—and Thalia definitely brought her A-game.
Dressed in a gown by Tommy Hilfiger, the Mexican superstar even shared the inspiration for the design on her IG stories:
She also shared her selfies with prominent Latina stars including Avengers actress Zoe Saldaña, and actress and producer Salma Hayek
Thalia will be turning 48 in August.
