Sarah Geronimo’s return to the microblogging site Twitter using her new handle @JustSarahG was surprisingly met with a lot of bashing from netizens.

May nag-bash na kasi kaagad noong nag-open ako ng account," she was quoted as saying in an article on ABS-CBNNews.com. I received a lot of bashing when I opened my account. People said that my account was fake, and that I just needed people to promote my movie, which is true. I need the public’s support for my movie.).”

However, KC Concepcion, whom Sarah recently went to Brazil with, has given the pop star advice on how to handle online detractors.

She said, ‘Get mad at people you know who are bashing you. Don’t waste your efforts on people you don’t know who judge you despite not knowing you and why you’re doing what you’re doing),'" she said.

She is also determined to not divulge a lot of her personal information on the website.

Gamitin natin sa tamang paraan (I can’t promise that I’ll be able to do this every day, because of course I still want to be as private as possible. But I’ll share what I should share with the people. I’ll use it for the right reasons.).”
