With a baby with hubby Ogie Alcasid on the way, Regine Velasquez is on break from work for health purposes. Despite keeping a low profile the past few months, however, Asia's Songbird proves that she still reigns supreme in the vocal category as she wins Female Network's 25 Best Filipina Singers poll for August!

Congratulations to Ms. Regine Velasquez who, after 31 days of voting, garnered 144,673 of the 265,909 votes cast (54.40%). This chart-topping, multiplatinum artist is the Philippine Association of the Record Industry's Best Selling Artist of All Time, a fact that is unsurprising considering her clean yet strong vocals and timeless appeal.
