Fans are still reeling from Regine Velasquez's expensive gift from Sharon Cuneta.
The beloved Asia's Songbird received the gift from the Megastar on November 24, at the Regine At The Movies concert in New Frontier Theater, where the two performed "Bituing Walang Ningning" together!
ABS-CBN head writer Darla Sauler posted on Instagram a close-up shot of Regine's new ring, which she proudly wore the next day at ASAP Natin 'To.
In an interview with PEP.ph, jeweler Candy Dizon of Jul B. Dizon Jewellry gave more interesting details about the now-famous ring.
"We were chatting about how much she loves and treasures the ring, but her love for Regine is more important than material things," she said.
According to Candy, the ring, which was custom-made for Sharon, was inspired by the cocktail flower diamond ring from the Sex and the City movie in 2008.
She told PEP.ph, "Sharon came to me and asked me to make a ring for her that she saw in Sex and the City the movie.
"It’s a huge flower ring that is worn on two fingers instead of the regular one.
"I said that I would have to make slight changes on the design so that there’s still a sense of uniqueness to it."
The ring was worn onscreen by Canadian actress Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones.

Candy added, "It is made up of more than 8 carats of very good quality diamonds and set in 18 karat white gold.
"It took us 30 days to complete the ring due to minor revisions that Sharon and I agreed half way through production."
If the ring will be sold now, the jeweler said, "It is worth nearly a million pesos."
