It feels like New Year was just yesterday, but we're almost done with the first half of 2018. In the past six months, several celebrity moms-to-be have announced their pregnancies, and it's round two for many. Find out who's just starting her journey and those about to pop!
Iya Villania-Arellano
The TV host announced her second pregnancy with husband Drew Arellano's via a CrossFit-themed gender-reveal in February. It will be another baby boy for the couple, and they already have a name, Leon Arellano, though they have not yet announced his complete name. Iya is now in her third trimester of pregnancy, but as an advocate of a healthy lifestyle, she's still lifting weights and doing CrossFit, which she credits to her easy second pregnancy. The couple just had their babymoon before they become a family of four. (We wonder how Primo Arellano will handle being a kuya).
Bianca Gonzalez-Intal
The author and TV host announced her pregnancy in May. She posted video clips of her and husband JC Intal's daughter Lucia Intal, who was introducing herself as "ate" and kissing her mom's tummy. Bianca also revealed she suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum or extreme morning sickness due to pregnancy. (Yes, the same one the Duchess of Cambridge had in her first two pregnancies). Bianca said it was the complete opposite of her first pregnancy, but she's now in her second trimester and feeling good enough to do yoga.
Jennica Garcia-Uytingco
When the Kalinga ni Nanay founder and speaker announced her second pregnancy in December 2017, Jennica revealed that she was diagnosed with threatened abortion in the first trimester and was advised by her doctor to rest. Thankfully, the worst is over for Jennica, and she celebrated a baby shower recently.
Jewel Mishe-Kurze
The former Kapamilya star who is now based in the U.S. with husband Alister Kurze is already eight months pregnant with their first child. But based on the size of her baby bump, it doesn't look like she's about to pop anytime soon. But Jewel, who regularly does yoga and Pilates, said she and her unborn baby are in tip-top shape.
Shamcey Supsup-Lee
The Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up is already four months along the family way for the second time around. The beauty queen, who celebrated her 32nd birthday and the launch of her and husband Lloyd Lee's new restaurant chain last month, finds herself constantly hungry, the opposite of her first pregnancy where she lost weight because of morning sickness. She and Lloyd are hoping that it will be a boy this time since they already have a daughter, Nyke Lee.
Sitti Navarro-Ramirez
Philippine's Bossa Nova Queen is now 14 weeks pregnant with her and triathlete husband Joey Ramirez's first child. Sitti had been diagnosed with unexplained infertility and went through fertility treatments—two ovulation-inducing cycles and two intrauterine inseminations plus a laparoscopy to check her reproductive system. When IVF was recomended, Sitti and Joey decided to hold off on any treatment and rest. Less than two months later, the singer got pregnant naturally.
Princess Velasco
The acoustic singer and her husband Bistek Rosario are adding to her family of three! Princess, who is now 33 weeks pregnant, announced her pregnancy back in March via a video of her firstborn son Kobe Rosario, who recently turned 3 this June, playing with a series of ultrasound scan photos. Princess's home will be welcoming another baby boy in a couple of months.
Lara Quigaman-Alcaraz
The beauty queen turned actress revealed that she was pregnant with baby number two in March this year. Lara said she had a tricky time managing nausea this time around. There was even a time that she nearly fainted on the set of ABS-CBN's Bagani. She, her husband Marco Alcaraz, and especially their firstborn son, Noah, are excited to welcome a baby girl.
Michela Cazzola
Jame's Yap's son MJ Yap will be a big brother soon. Her mom, Michela, is almost ready to give birth to his baby sibling. Rumors of her second pregnancy first surfaced in March when a visible baby bump was seen in a family photo posted by James on his Instagram. He also used a red ribbon emoji in the caption, fueling rumors that they are expecting a baby girl this time around.
Wishing all these celebrity moms a healthy pregnancy and safe delivery!
