The Miss Universe Organization has recently announced that this year's pageant will be held in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States.

According to an Instagram post, the show will be aired live from the Tyler Perry Studios on December 8 (U.S. time). 

Steve Harvey will once again host the competition. 

Last year, the Miss Universe coronation night was held in the IMPACT Arena in Thailand, where Miss Philippines Catriona Gray was crowned as the 67th titleholder. This year, Gazini Ganados will be representing the country in hopes of bringing home a back-to-back win.
