On September 20, Maxene Magalona took to Instagram to share about her weight loss journey by posting before and after photos of herself. In her caption, Maxene explained that she's been able to lose 30 lbs in one year with the help of a balanced diet, daily yoga, gym workouts, and a positive mindset.
She also took the chance to thank her husband Rob Mananquil, "He made me see the light. Just when I was on the verge of giving up, always telling myself 'hanggang dito na lang ako,' he made me believe in myself and really see my self-worth."
Maxx has been on a diet with the help of Diet Diva, a delivery service that provides healthy and carefully portioned meals. She's on a meal plan that's low in salt and carbs: 1,200-calorie meals on weekdays and cheat meals on weekends.
Over the past year, Maxene has also posted photos of her diet on social media!
"Now I understand how important it is to train our minds to be more positive and to not let negativity weigh us down. More than just the physical aspect of this journey, I'm grateful for how awesome and amazing I feel on the inside."
Maxene also graciously answered fans' questions and shared them on IG Stories.
