Buying a house was the first order of the day for Max Collins and Pancho Magno after getting married in December 2017.

In an interview during the Bench Fashion Week S/S 2019 launch held at the Bench Tower in Bonifacio Global City, Max and Pancho shared that they would be moving into their new home soon.

Pancho said, "Siguro, parang we considered our new house as our baby na rin. That's our... lahat ng ano namin, like we continue to earn money sa work, d'on namin nilalagay sa house."

According to Max, the property was already built when they decided to buy it. She said, "It has everything that we want so we decided to go for it. Because it's close to our dream [house]... We saw it like last year, and we've been eyeing it for a long time. And we thought, if nobody buys it, then maybe it's meant for us. So after a few months, we kinda felt the urge to go for it na."

The couple did not disclose how much they're paying for the property, but the couple have pared down their lifestyle to afford it. Pancho said, "One vacation like in a year, one country lang muna," and Max agreed, "[That's] how we plan [to save]. One vacation a year lang.

The couple said they are still doing a few minor improvements to keep it as close as possible to their dream home.

"We really wanted the homey feel. We want to like fix it up to be our dream house. So like, there's a huge veranda, and a gym, a loft. Maraming space para sa aming dalawa, which is good... It's more of a family vibe. Number one, space for our future baby or babies."

Max added, "Yeah, very cozy, basically... It has a big kitchen. We like open spaces because we like the sun, and a lot of plants." They also considered location and security. "It's gonna be in the Antipolo area so it's closer to work kasi, usually, our taping is either in Antipolo or Marikina. Most of the time, sabay kami nasa work, walang tao sa house... the maid lang, so much better na secure yung house."

Pancho also shared that his mom, Redgie Magno, lives near their area. "Nand'on 'yong mom ko. So pag may work kami, puwedeng may favor na pumunta siya sa house para i-check 'yong house."

When asked about their favorite spot in the house, the two agreed that it was the veranda. Max said, "Kasi it's so big, it's huge. And I really want a space that has sunlight and a space when the family can grill and have coffee in the morning."
