A month ago, we asked you to pick your favorite celebrity entrepreneur from our list of 15 business-savvy celebrities. All the votes are now in, and we've found out that you girls turn to Marvin Agustin for your entrepreneurial inspiration, as this star got 11 out of the 25 total votes (44 percent)!

Marvin may be one of the country's top restaurant moguls, but the talented entrepreneur would be the first to admit that life wasn't always easy for him growing up.

"Wala kami masyadong maraming pera noon (We didn't have a lot of money back then.). We really tend to save while I was growing up. Medyo survival eh (It was an issue of survival), we had financial problems," he was quoted as saying in an article on MoneySense.com.ph.

To help augment his family's income, he started taking on odd jobs at a young age. He had peddled clothes sourced from Tutuban, worked as a mascot in a popular restaurant, and become a waiter, security guard, and a cashier at a Mexican food chain. After getting his big break in showbiz, he used his savings to fund a restaurant venture with a few partners, and the rest--as they say--is history.

This actor-businessman's secret to success lies in his willingness to work hard and his love for his craft. "Walang secret sa success (There's no secret to success.)," he says. "It’s really hard work, determination, and drive. Never lose them and magta-thrive at magsa-succeed ka pa lalo (Never lose them and you'll thrive and succeed even more.)."
