The Twitterverse exploded last week when statements attacking actress Marian Rivera appeared on Heart Evangelista’s Twitter account, @heart021485, PEP.ph reports. Heart’s alleged Tweets called Marian “marianita bobo” and “bobita,” and one statement even claimed Heart’s mom really told Marian to “stay away from [her] daughter” at the airport. Heart had already commented on the latter issue in a Tweet on July 3, in which she said her mom “didn’t even exchange a single glance with (Marian)”. Daniel Matsunaga, Heart’s boyfriend, Tweeted about the issue later during the day, saying Heart’s account had been “hacked by desperate fans.” Heart herself used Daniel’s account to talk about the hacking and even said Marian had once confronted her and told her she had all the presidents of her fan clubs ready to attack her. “Isang text papatayin ka nila, patay ka, umiyak si Bella Padilla sa [Party Pilipinas] dahil binoo (I can text them, and they’ll kill you. You’re dead. Bella Padilla cried in Party Pilipinas because she was booed),” said Marian, according to Heart's Tweet.
As of press time, Heart’s Tweets are already in protected mode, meaning only her confirmed Twitter followers will be able to see her posts. In her last Tweet on Daniel’s account, now deleted, she told everyone she would relate what really happened after she returns from her Brazil trip.
Meanwhile, on the set of Amaya on July 8, PEP.ph got a chance to sit down with Marian for an interview. When they asked Marian about her reaction to the latest developments in the alleged rift between her and her Temptation Island co-star, PEP.ph noted that while she looked like she wanted to give her reaction, GMA-7 staff prevented them from getting Marian’s statement. The staff said it was for the actress’s own good and that getting her answer would only prolong the issue.
