After nearly a decade together, the love between Kylie Padilla and Aljur Abrenica is deeper than ever!
Aljur received a sweet surprise from his wife during an appearance at the talk show Tonight With Boy Abunda when the host, Boy Abunda, read him a letter written by Kylie.
Kylie begins, “Ang gusto ko lang sabihin is thank you. Sa lahat ng pinagdaanan natin, salamat at hanggang ngayon, nagpapakatatag pa rin tayo.”
She later talks about the inspiring growth Aljur has shown throughout the nine years of their relationship. “Mag-na-nine years na tayo magkasama and nakita ko yung journey mo. Sobrang nakaka-proud yung growth mo as a person. Happy ako na nakita ko yung journey mo from man to father and man to husband. Alam nating dalawa na hindi siya madali, pero you do your best.”
Kylie also takes the opportunity to thank her husband for his efforts to take care of her, especially now that she is pregnant with their second child.
“Thank you for always thinking positive, lalo na ngayon na buntis ako at pagod palagi,” she writes. “Ginagawa mo pa rin lahat para alagaan ako pati si Alas.”
She continues, “Thank you sa lahat ng ginagawa mo, sa effort mo, sa pagod mo, sa understanding at patience. And thank you din sa faith mo. Kung may isa akong natutunan sa ‘yo, iyon yun — always having faith that no matter how bad things get, things will always get better.”
The letter ends with Kylie telling her husband, “Thank you at niligawan mo ako ulit at hinabol. LOL! Ngayon may pamilya na tayo. At palagi mong tatandaan na nandito kami para sa ‘yo. We love you. I love you.”
Aljur himself did not shy away from expressing his affection for his wife, sharing how she takes care of him and makes the effort to make him feel loved every day.
“Mahal, thank you,” he says. “I love you and I will always be here for you. I will always strive to be the best version of myself para sa sarili ko, para sa ‘yo, bilang isang asawa, para sa mga anak natin, bilang ama.”
Aljur and Kylie are parents to 2-year-old Alas Joaquin and are expecting another baby boy soon. The couple got married in December 2018.
