Kim Chiu has dismissed the intrigues about the supposed rift with her Ina, Kapatid, Anak co-star Maja Salvador, who is now being linked to Kim’s ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson.

According to an interview aired on the February 4 episode of TV Patrol, Kim said that she enjoys a good working environment on the set of their teleserye and that everyone in the cast have always displayed utmost professionalism. However, she did not directly mention Maja’s name.

"'Yung mga artistang nakapaligid sa amin, sobrang magagaling at nadadala na rin nila kami sa kung papa’no sila umarte,” she was quoted as saying in an article on “Ganun na rin kami, kasi siyempre nakakahiya para sa amin kung hindi namin ibigay yung 100 percent namin (We are surrounded by brilliant artists, who support us with their acting. Of course it’s not fair if we don’t give it our 100 percent.).”

Kim also said that she and Maja don’t let the intrigues hounding them affect their attitude on the set. “Oo, ang importante, kung trabaho, trabaho, di ba (Yes, what’s important is that we should be focused on our work, right?)?” she said.

A production insider also said that there is no truth to the rumor that Kim and Maja were acting cold toward each other on the set. According to the source, Kim has already moved on from Gerald with some help from her current love team partner, Xian Lim.
