The rumored romance between Aljur Abrenica and AJ Raval has been the talk of the town lately. To say that a lot has happened would be an understatement, so here's a quick recap: AJ admitted that she and Aljur "care for each other," then the two were eventually spotted holding hands, and then AJ's ex-boyfriend Axel Torres seemingly threw shade, which the 22-year-old actress vehemently spoke up against in a deleted IG Story.
In the latest development, it turns out that AJ's father, '90s action star Jeric Raval, has finally reacted to this ongoing "courtship"—and he definitely did NOT mince his words.

According to Pep.ph, AJ's dad reportedly had three things to ask Aljur when they first met. “Una kaming nagkita niyan sa PDEA office dahil inihatid niya ang anak ko," said the former actor. "Dun ko siya unang nakausap at tatlong bagay lang ang itinanong ko sa kanya.
"Una, nanliligaw ba siya sa anak ko? He answered me, ‘Yes po.’ Second, kung 'ikaw ba ay hiwalay na?' Third, 'Ano kaya ang sasabihin ko sa biyenan mo [Robin Padilla] kung aksidenteng magkita kami?'"
Jeric, who's good friends with Robin, his fellow action star back in the day, expounded on why he wanted his daughter's suitor to answer these three things. He said, "Kaya ko tinanong ‘yon dahil, unang-una, alam ko na anak ni Robin ang asawa niya. Pangalawa, magkaibigan kami ni Robin, kaya hindi mo maiaalis sa akin na medyo mahiya sa sitwasyon dahil ayokong isipin ng mga tao o ninuman na ang dahilan ng pagkakahiwalay nila o third party, e, ang anak ko."
He added, "Sabi ko pa sa kanya, 'I have nothing against you, kaya lang kaibigan ko ang biyenan mo. Kung in good faith naman ang panliligaw mo sa anak ko, well, then kailangan nasa ayos ang lahat.' Gaya nga ng nasabi ko, hindi magiging masaya ang isang relasyon kung may natatapakan."

Robin is the father of Kylie Padilla, whom Aljur was married to. Although the two have yet to legally annul their marriage, the pair had already confirmed their separation after a controversial breakup in July.
On the dating rumors surrounding her ex-husband, the actress once said in a tweet: "Guys, there is no issue," Kylie wrote. We separated April pa and we have already mutually agreed to date other people. Please stop dragging other parties into this. I have no intention of disclosing any more of what happened because I want to cherish the littlest ounce of privacy I have left."
