In a report on "Chikka Minute" on news show 24 Oras on January 16, actress Jennylyn Mercado admitted she and ex-boyfriend Dennis Trillo are back on good terms.

When reporter Cata Tibayan asked her why she was blooming, she named this as one of the reasons why. "Siyempre masaya (Of course, I'm happy about it)," she is quoted as saying on GMANews.tv. "Kalimutan na natin tampuhan dahil new year na. (Let's forget about past resentments because it's a new year.)"

Jennylyn's relationship with Dennis ended in early 2011 after a disagreement between them escalated to insults and physical abuse. Jennylyn is currently with actor Luis Manzano, while Dennis is being linked to his Sinner or Saint love team partner, Bianca King.

Besides mending bridges between her and Dennis, Jennylyn also cited being "inspired," thanks to her family and Luis, as part of the reason she's glowing this year. She said her relationship with Luis is going strong, especially because of their mutual love for sports. Nevertheless, the two of them don't plan on settling down this year.
