It was just last week when US-based Filipina promoter Elaine Crisostomo accused Kapamilya love team JaDine of being rude towards their fans, and for not fulfilling very specific commitments during their US tour. According to a report by PEP.ph, Crisostomo accused the on-and off-screen couple of not showing up for their fan meet-and-greet in California, as well as a booked show in New York.
Crisostomo explained, through a series of Facebook posts that have now been deleted, that she was angry not only for the allegedly rude behavior of the love team regarding their schedule, but also because of the overall treatment of those who were with JaDine to her volunteers and documentation team.
According to Crisostomo, her videographer, who even came from Bakersfield which is about four hours away from San Francisco, was not allowed to shoot since it was "VIVA property" and was eventually kicked out along with her photographers; she also felt she was not respected by the production team."Producer ako, binili ko ang show pero hindi man lang ako nirespeto ng mga tao/artistang dumating sa SFO.
“Overall: walang nagawa ang production company ko kasi sila lahat ang nasunod. Four days ko kasama ang JaDine, not even once nakausap ko or nakapag pa picture man lang ako dahil laging wala, laging late umuuwi, napakahigpit ng mga alalay nila, madaming bawal.”
Another matter was the issue about the lunch date with JaDine. “Unang una, hindi ako mag po-promote sa Facebook ko publicly or maniningil kong hindi alam ng Viva at ng promoter. I also waited ng ilang oras sa baba ng lobby. Nasa second floor lang naman ang mga artista at nakikiusap ako kong pwede kahit bumaba lang.”
Now, James Reid has spoken up regarding these allegations (shortly after Nadine posted her own take on the matter). In a series of Twitter posts, he apologized to the fans he claims were misled, and explained that he had no idea that there was even a brunch to begin with.
I'm sorry for the fans who were tricked into paying $250 for a brunch that was not approved. I didn't even know about it until the day after

The 23-year old actor also accused Elaine Crisostomo of “not being a reliable promoter” and a “liar.”
Elaine Crisostomo is not a credible promoter and a liar. She still owes our production head (not Nadine @mjfelipe) $27,000.

We went straight to our hotel room because of our 3am flight. Ofcourse we're tired. And Ellaine never spoke to me until after the concert.

All the fans involved already know the truth. I hate to explain all this but I'm just annoyed that these lies are still being spread on TV.
