Jaclyn Jose and her daughter, Andi Eigenmann, have reconciled since their much-publicized rift last year due to Andi’s ex-boyfriend, Jake Ejercito. Jaclyn is grateful for their renewed closeness, and hopes that Andi would make smarter decisions in the future when it comes to love.

Siguro naman… she’s more intelligent enough after what happened. You know, there can always be a second time na manloko ang lalaki, nasa sa kanya na yun (I hope she's more intelligent enough after what happened. You know, a man can always cheat a second time, that will be up to her.),” she was quoted as saying in an article on PEP.ph.

However, Jaclyn admits she does not know if Andi and Jake really reconciled during the former’s recent trip to London. “Hindi ko alam. Kasi may sinabi rin si Jake na hindi ko nagustuhan... yung interview niya sa newspaper. So, hindi ko talaga alam. It’s up to Andi to decide and for me to react. Wala naman akong magagawa kundi ang mag-react na lang, di ba (I don't know. Because Jake also said something I didn't like... in his interview with a newspaper. So, I really don't know. It's up to Andi to decide and for me to react. I can't do anything else but react, right?)?”

“Be wise... think ten times this time,” she advised her daughter.

Jaclyn also admitted that she still harbours a lot of anger towards Albie Casino, who is allegedly the father of Andi’s child Ellie. The two almost bumped into each other during the 29th PMPC Star Awards Night held on March 10, and Jaclyn had remarked that she did not wish to see the young actor.

Ang importante, si Ellie, in-embrace namin siya nang wholeheartedly at mahal na mahal ko (Of course, you're the mother who sent her to school, who raised your child alone, you gave her a nice life, a good future... Then one person destroys it all, turns his back on her, and shames her... that's what he did to Andi. But it's okay, the past is the past. It's in the past, it's done. What's important is that we embraced Ellie wholeheartedly and that I love her very much.).”
