Macaulay Culkin will not be resurrecting his "Home Alone" character Kevin McCallister again.

After his viral turn in comedy web series DRYVRS last year, the star admitted that his role as a grown up Kevin in Jack Dishel's web series stole his friend's thunder.

Culkin, 35, has kept a low profile over the last ten years. His last mainstream movie appearance was in the romantic drama "Sex and Breakfast" in 2007.

Despite this he can't escape Kevin McCallister, the boy who is accidentally left at home during Christmas vacation and takes on two opportunist burglars.

“I warned Jack that this was going to be a viral thing,” Culkin told “I was happy for it to bring attention to his show, but I don’t think I’ll do anything like that again. I want to make sure it’s Jack’s show, not the Mack show.”

Though hit '90s comedy "Home Alone" came out more than 25 years ago, the former child actor is still bothered by the fact he is recognised the world over.

After dividing his time between Paris and New York, he hoped no-one in the French capital would know who he is, but soon realised it wasn't the case. During a trip to a Parisian cafe the star was shocked to be given the Wi-Fi password on a card featuring his younger self.

"A waitress just gave it to me and walked away — their Wi-Fi code was ‘Macaulay Culkin.’ She turned white and brought over the owner of the place, who said, ‘I knew you’d come here someday,’” recalls the star.

Culkin is set to make his big screen comeback in Adam Green's film project "Aladdin", which comes out in the U.S. later this month (April 15) and on worldwide release next month (May 12 ).
