On July 12, one of actress Glaiza de Castro's tweets caused a bit of an online stir when she asked about certain work-related policies: "Fair ba na kaltasan ka ng sweldo pag na late ka pero sa mahigit 24 oras na pagta trabaho, wala man lang overtime pay?"

She didn't relate if the tweet referred to her work, but it received over 5,000 likes and 1,000 retweets from followers. Even though people seemed to share Glaiza's sentiments, the influx of reactions eventually prompted the Contessa actress to delete it from her Twitter timeline.

On July 14, Glaiza clarified her intentions: "In relation to my recent tweet, bilang ang daming nagtatanong kung para saan ba talaga o para kanina o kung kaninong experience, I would like to clarfy na it's a general statement.

"Nakaka overwhelm ang dami ng response dahil nangyayari ito sa maraming tao, esp proletariats (wage earners). 'Wag sana ma misinterpret dahil lang sa isang simpleng tanong o obserbasyon na walang intensyong makasira o makasakit ng iba."

Glaiza's followers immediately tweeted their support, saying there was nothing wrong about her question.
