It’s been a year since Delamar Arias left RX 93.1 The Morning Rush, knowing well that it was time for her to close that chapter in her life and begin a new one.

“You do change as you grow older,” she shared during an interview with Inquirer.net. “When I was young and not married, I represented the market—I partied all night, drank, hung out with friends. But imagine a wife and mom talking to that market now. So I decided it was time to take myself somewhere else.”

Now, the famous DJ returns to the industry of gab, this time on a new platform—an online talk show and live chat.

St8 Up with Delamar is her first solo stint after The Morning Rush, and it promises more stripped down and mature conversations about everything under the sun.

“Everyone’s on the internet now and it’s such a great place to engage with people,” she said in a release. “Here I could collaborate with a team and create content that can really open people’s minds. Or at least entertain them.”

St8 Up with Delamar just piloted yesterday, and was followed by a Facebook live-chat. The show airs every Wednesdays at noon on 8List.
