Though Cristine Reyes has denied the rumor that she and her ex-boyfriend Dennis Trillo had gotten back together, she did admit that the Kapuso actor has a special place in her heart.

In a July 30 interview with, Cristine revealed that she has remained close to Dennis after their breakup.

'Ganun lang 'yung bond namin, kami ng family [ni Dennis] and ako… and then Dennis [and me],” she was quoted as saying in an article on “Hindi para isipin ng ibang tao na nagbalikan na kami. It’s just that gano’n namin tine-treasure 'yung naging relasyon namin, mahirap pakawalan, 'di ba (That’s how our bond really is. It’s not for people to think that we’re getting back together. That’s just how much we treasure our past relationship, it’s hard to let go, right?)?”

Siyempre, tine-treasure ko ‘yon (Dennis is special to me and will remain special to me. Because everyone who enters my life, especially if they were able to touch my heart… you know, they’re difficult to forget, and I know how important relationships are. Of course I treasure that.).”

When asked about the possibility of her and Dennis getting back together, the actress replied, “Bata pa po ako so ayoko din magsalita nang tapos. Hindi naman natin masasabi, e. Alam mo ‘yon, ayokong mag-close ng door (I’m still young so I don’t want to say anything final yet. We can’t really say. You know, I don’t want to close any doors.).”
