Anne Curtis recently figured in a controversial incident, as she was reported to have slapped and hurled insults at several personalities at Privé Luxury Club on November 23, Saturday.
JR Isaac, who was present when the "slapping incident" happened, recounts the story in an exclusive interview with PEP.ph.
“Then all of a sudden, pak-pak. My left cheek. Then Leah was also slapped. Then JL was also slapped. This all happened so fast. Anne was making so much noise, shouting at JL [John Lloyd Cruz]: 'You are an addict!' Ang bilis, di ko na alam ang nangyayari. Basta wala akong narinig from JL, he behaved like a gentleman (Then all of a sudden, I was slapped on my left cheek. Then Leah was also slapped. Then JL was also slapped. This all happened so fast. Anne was making so much noise, shouting at JL: 'You are an addict!' Everything happened so fast, that I couldn't believe it was happening. I didn't hear anything frm JL, he behaved like a gentleman),” he was quoted as saying.
Anne, however, did not deny her involvement in the incident and took to Twitter to apologize, although she hinted that another unnamed individual actually caused all the commotion. While her public apology drew mixed reactions, her fellow celebrities were also quick to show support for the actress.
“I admire her courage for admitting her fault din... But, 'yun nga (the thing is), I think, there’s a lot of people that hold an image about you. And when you make a mistake, they are quick to judge. And people should remember that we’re all human and we make mistakes,” Sam Milby, Anne's ex-boyfriend said, in a separate interview with PEP.ph.
“I need to be there for a friend. So here I come,” Anne's It's Showtime co-host Vice Ganda posted on Twitter yesterday.
“We are just human and we all have our moments of weakness nippy, we are all here behind you... It takes guts to admit.. our mistakes and apologize to parties involved and you did :) learn and rise from the experience :) we love you! :)” Luis Manzano also tweeted on Sunday.
