During the May 2 episode of Tonight With Boy Abunda (TBWA), Jodi Sta. Maria revealed that Zanjoe Marudo is Bela Padilla’s ‘Muntik nang minahal.’ The revelation happened when the two ladies played a picture-guessing game called WhoLa on the show. The last person that Jodi described for Bela was Zanjoe’s.
“Muntik nang minahal,” Jodi said. While Bela replied, “Oh wow! Ay, di ko sasabihin!”
Jodi then added: “Co-star mo sa My Dear Heart.”
Bela finally answered “Zanjoe Marudo.”
The two were in the show to promote their new Kapamilya primetime series, Sino Ang May Sala.

Bela and Zanjoe were rumored to develop a special relationship after co-starring in 2017 ABS-CBN series My Dear Heart. In a video published by Pep.ph in June 2017, it was reported that they had “hidden feelings” for each other.
“Ngayon alam ko na may tinatago pala siyang feelings,” Bela said to Zanjoe.
But on November 2017, in an episode of Magandang Buhay, Zanjoe clarified that he and Bela are just friends. Meanwhile, early last year, Bela also stressed that she and Zanjoe weren't romantically together.
"Wala naman. Wala namang nag-umpisa para maudlot. Friends pa rin naman kami hanggang ngayon. Nag-uusap pa naman kami, so okay lang," she said in an interview.
Zanjoe is currently in a relationship with model and surfer Josie Prendergast. Meanwhile, Bela’s last relationship was with Neil Arce. They were together for four years before breaking up early 2017.
