Actress Anne Curtis recently returned to the Philippines after shooting Hollywood film Blood Ransom in the US. In an exclusive interview with, she said the experience was "amazing, fun, and unforgettable."

"When you work with the actors there, you work with the director, you work with the whole team, they are so professional—as in!" she is quoted as saying. "It’s crazy, and that makes me want to learn more about my craft. Everything was a new experience for me and an eye-opener para sa akin."

Despite how wonderful the experience was, however, Anne said she still wanted to keep her career in the Philippines. "Kaya nga lagi kong sinasabi na, for 15 years, ‘eto ang nagpakain sa ‘kin and made me who I am now. So I will never give up my career here in the Philippines. I love the Philippines too much!"

"Maybe next year or after next year, two years from now, I will go there again for [an] audition," she said. "But I will never give up my career here sa Pilipinas—that’s the one thing I assure you."

Blood Ransom is an indie film directed by Filipino-American Francis dela Torre, and Anne said that being in the cast was a fulfillment of something her mother wished for her for her birthday this year. "Sabi niya, ‘Sana magka-indie film ka, anak.’ Sabi ko, 'Indie film talaga?!’ At 'eto na nga yun, may indie film na ako—pero bongga lang kasi sa States na-shoot. (She said, 'I hope you get an indie film.' I said, 'Really? An indie film?!' And this is it, I've got an indie film now--it's just that it's big time because it was shot in the States.)”
