Andi Eigenmann was looking forward to a fun summer with daughter Ellie, but unfortunately, the enhanced community quarantine has put a pause on their planned mother-daughter bonding activities.

Andi is currently in Siargao, where she, partner Philmar Alipayo, and second daughter Lilo are now based.

Eight-year-old Ellie is in Manila, where her father Jake Ejercito resides and where she has also been studying.

During the first week of the quarantine, Andi posted a throwback to her last trip to Manila, saying, "Elle and I are not supposed to be separated at this time. But due to unfortunate events, we have to be.

"I am craving for the day I get to be with you again. Out here on the island just like we should be."

It has been six weeks since then, and Andi misses Ellie's company even more.

In her recent Instagram post, she remembered the days when it was just the two of them, when she would bring then two-year-old Ellie to the set of her teleserye Dyesebel.

"Oh what I would do to see this smile (and laugh) in person again!" Andi wrote.

"As days go by, it gets harder to not have you by my side. can't wait for us to do all the activities we have planned!

"For now, here are super cute photos of you enjoying your time on set at my taping for 'Dyesebel' 6 years ago! When you were still young enough to always always be by my side.

"Soon, we will have this much fun together again.

"Counting down the seconds till then, my darling Elle."

The enhanced community quarantine took effect on March 16, 2020.
