Actress Andi Eigenmann gave birth to baby Adrianna Gabriellie at 5:20 PM on November 23 via caesarian section, reports. Gabby Eigenmann, her brother, revealed in an interview that it was Andi herself who informed the family that she was already at St. Luke's Hospital in Taguig City that morning. "Sabi niya, 'Brothers and sisters, I'm giving birth, but relax, hindi pa naman,'" he is quoted as saying.

Andi arrived at the hospital at around 10:00 AM. The doctors expected her to give birth via normal delivery, but the baby's position had not changed significantly by 4:00 PM. "That was the time na nag-decide na i-CS (caesarian section) na talaga," Gabby said. "No choice, kasi hindi na rin maganda yung heartbeat ng baby that time. (They had no choice because the baby's heartbeat also wasn't good at the time.)"

Although she had been administered an anaesthetic for pain, Andi was awake while she was giving birth. "Gising si Andi kaya noong nilapag daw yung baby sa dibdib niya, umiyak siya (She was awake. That's why when they gave her the baby, she cried)," Gabby explained. "Gising pa rin siya noong ilabas siya ng operating room. Nakausap pa namin siya bago naman siya dinala sa recovery room. (She was also still awake when they got her out of the operating room. We were able to talk to her before she was taken to the recovery room.)"

Gabby said that from first impressions, baby Adrianna looked like Andi. "Ang laki ng bata, di ba, 7.8 pounds? (The baby's so big. Doesn't she weigh 7.8 pounds?)" he added. "Pero kapag nakita mo naman na, parang hindi naman ganoon kalaki. (But when you see her, she doesn't look that big.)"

Meanwhile, Andi's mom, actress Jaclyn Jose, told that she felt so proud after seeing her grandchild. "I feel complete."
