Ai-Ai delas Alas’s eldest son, Sancho, can’t hide the anger he feels toward his mother’s ex-husband, businessman Jed Salang, when he was interviewed by PEP.ph shortly after Ai-Ai’s controversial revelations on The Buzz about her short-lived marriage.

Ayaw ko na sanang magsalita. Pero siyempre, bilang anak ay masakit po. Masakit kasi panganay nga po ako, e. Ako lang ang anak na nandito. So, as of now, ako lang ang naka-support kay Mama (I didn’t want to talk. But of course, as her child, it hurts me. It’s painful because I’m the eldest child. I’m her only child here. So, as of now, I’m the one supporting Mama,” he said, adding that he has taken to accompanying Ai-Ai everywhere she goes so she’ll have someone she can lean on at all times.

Sancho also admitted that he never expected that his mother’s latest relationship would become this awry.

“He’s very welcome to the family. He’s very open," he said about his previous interactions with Jed. “Hindi ko talaga alam na aabot ito sa ganito (I really did not expect that it would end up like this.).”

But despite this, Sancho still believes that there is still a happy ending in store for his mother.

Hindi pa naman yata huli ang lahat para sa kanya (I don’t think all hope is lost for her),” he remarked.
