Love Story

"We were set up by our mothers in 2009, because they were 7th grade classmates in Cebu," the bride says. After 5 months, the future mother-in-laws exchanged Tammy and Earle's numbers, and the rest was history. In 2012, Earl proposed to Tammy just a few days before Valentine's Day. The bride says, "I thought we were going on a hiking trip. Turns out, Earle planned a romantic candle-lit dinner at the Misibis Bay."

Wedding Preparations

To make sure that their wedding was as beautiful as they envisioned it to be, Tammy and Earle personally handpicked the details for their big day. Since the bride is a wedding gown designer, she customized most of the ensembles during their special day. "We customized our Despedida de Soltera hanky giveaways by embroidering the scallop edges and embroidering our initials in the middle. We also decorated the Unity Candles, Secondary Candles and Offertory Candles with abaca rope intertwined with aqua and coral twine rope with seashells," the bride says.

On planning a wedding, the bride says, "Always communicate with your partner about all the details of your wedding. Be ready to have a Plan B or plan C if your Plan A doesn't work. It also doesn't hurt to ask friends or married couples for advice. Enjoy every moment of your wedding day because you worked hard for it. Smile and be thankful to God that your most special day has finally arrived."
