Megan Young and Mikael Daez have always been a private couple, so it was no surprise that they decided to go the low-key route when it came to planning their wedding. The couple made a surprise announcement on January 25, posting the sweetest photos of their nuptials on social media.
It wasn't the first time they faced the altar, though, as in an Instagram post, Megan revealed that they actually tied the knot in a private Caleruegacelebration on January 10, with only 10 people in attendance.
Their January 25 celebration, however, was one that they shared with more of their loved ones. Held in Subic, it was simple, cozy, and elegant. Event stylist Gideon Hermosa was tapped to create a minimalist, bohemian-themed setup at both the church and the reception, and the results were as dreamy as you'd expect.
Gideon gave the overall look a boho spin by decorating the San Roque Chapel in natural elements like long bundles of dried grass and flowers.
Megan's bridal bouquet, which was a ring of bleached and dried plants, matched the entire setup perfectly.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom posed against a backdrop of woven ropes and dried fronds.
The entryway to the reception at El Kabayo looked straight out of a romantic movie. Glasses with lit candles adorned the grass, while round lanterns hung on the trees.
As for the dining setup, all tables were covered in a pale pink cloth, where a bunch of orange and baby blue blooms, golden cutlery, and woven placemats were set for each guest.
The guests had a ton of options for their OOTDs. First was the plush cream couch surrounded by tall bamboo. There was a swing nearby, too!
The abundance of blooms made just about every corner Instagrammable. How dreamy!
Congratulations again, Megan and Mikael!
