Love Story

Keysha and Dan were introduced via Facebook, and they later met up in New York City later on. Despite the fact that they were practically strangers, they ended up enjoying one weekend by exploring city's sights together. The following day, Dan called up Keysha, and that marked the start of their phone calls, texts, and email exchanges. Romance soon blossomed between the two.

Keysha and Dan lived in different cities, and so they didn't see each other as often as they would have liked. Aside from the miles between them, their schedules at work also made it challenging to meet up.

The couple was going through a rough patch prior to one particular Thanksgiving, because they wouldn't be able to spend the holidays together. Keysha ended up spending Thanksgiving with her coworkers. Little did she know that Dan was waiting for her at her apartment. When she got home, Dan surprised her with a proposal--and that marked Keysha's assurance that she and Dan would spend the rest of their days together.

Wedding Preparations

Keysha and Dan celebrated their big day at Hacienda Isabella in Tagaytay. The venue's sprawling gardens proved to be the perfect backdrop to the couple's intimate celebration, which was attended by only 130 guests.

The couple wanted the venue's distinct charm to shine through, and so instead of festooning the place with elaborate décor, Keysha and Dan opted for rustic yet elegant pieces. The decorations, which included flowers and wooden pieces, perfectly complemented the couple's outdoor celebration. In addition, special performances and heartfelt speeches made the night even more memorable for the couple and their guests.

Despite having to plan their wedding from overseas, Keysha and Dan got the wedding that they wanted. The bride shares that they learned several things along the way. Keysha says, "Be patient and be willing to wait for deals or packages from [prospective] suppliers. Be friendly with your suppliers--you never know, they may give you some extras or just gain a new friend! Love the stress of planning; that's what keeps it exciting! If you put your heart into something, in the end, everything will all fall into place."
