Jenel and Reynaldo became close friends through their friends' birthday parties. And during one of their hangouts together, Reynaldo felt an unexplainable kilig feeling when he held Jenel's hand. "I felt like her hands were the perfect fit to mine," the groom says. After numerous exchanges of Friendster testimonials and text messages, the two became a couple.
Both fond of music, Jenel and Reynaldo went to the Lifehouse concert in Manila. It was then that Reynaldo proposed to Jenel. He says, "I put a ring on her finger without her noticing, and I told her 'Pakasalan mo ko.'" Tears fell down from Jenel's eyes as the two danced through their favorite song, Hanging by the Moment.
Jenel and Reynaldo chose to have a romantic affair that highlighted their personalities. Since the couple had a passion for music, they styled their wedding uniquely by decorating their tables with music-inspired accents and adding a modern backdrop featuring their favorite music artists.
The Manila String Machine serenaded the couple and their guests by playing traditional and modern wedding songs at their reception. The couple made their special day even more memorable as they danced to Edwin McCain's song, I Couldn't Ask For More.
The groom shares a tip for planning a wedding: "Don't be dismayed if things didn't work out the way you planned it. At the end of the day, it is not about how extravagant the wedding is. It's about celebrating your love for each other."
