Many soon-to-be brides dream of walking down the aisle in a classic white dress, but such wasn’t the case for Pinay Roz Noriega Parma. The modern bride said “I do” in a non-traditional gray tulle gown—it beautifully complemented her ash gray-colored, old Hollywood-esque hairstyle, too!
While gray may seem like a "dull" color for such a happy occasion, Roz’s tulle frock is proof that the muted shade can look just as elegant and romantic as white when mixed with soft and delicate fabrics.
In an interview with Female Network, Roz shared that her gown was a combination of ivory white and dove gray. This gave the gray hue extra-dimension and of course, that bridal feel.
The most interesting (and most useful) little detail of her unconventional gown? It had pockets!
"I [was able to stash] my tissue, a printed copy of my vows, and at some point, my phone and some of the money gifts we received," shared Roz.
While you can always opt for an evening clutch to stash these essentials, holding onto it during your big day can be a bit of a hassle. Think about it: you'll be carrying a bouquet already, and sometimes, the train of your dress (or a glass of champagne) on the other. What's more, you won't always need to ask your bridesmaids to get you a box of tissue when you tear up—or when it's getting too hot out at your outdoor venue.
The bride's dress is from a boutique in Thailand (where she was based prior to her wedding) called Aunchalee Boutique. But don't worry, though! If like Roz, you're eyeing a ball gown for your wedding, you can simply request for this tiny detail from your wedding gown designer!
