Tracy and Nico's paths first crossed in their village--Tracy owned a boutique there, and Nico and his friendswould pass by her boutique daily when they were on their way to have lunch at a nearby restaurant. They met at Tracy's shop, but because Nico was really shy, it took a while for them to get to know each other. They would go out as a group at first, and eventually, their relationship blossomed.
Two years into their relationship, Tracy was offered a job in Dubai. She accepted the job offer--and Nico followed her there shortly after. For three of their five years together, Tracy and Nico were both based in Dubai.
Eventually, Tracy and Nico decided it was time to come home and tie the knot. They had originally planned to have a simple civil wedding on their anniversary month, and then head straight to a family trip in Batangas after the ceremony. However, they felt like something was missing, and after much thought, Tracy and Nico decided to have a church wedding instead.
Tracy and Nico combined their ideas, and they exchanged "I do's" in Batangas with their families and closest friends as witnesses.
To meet the date they had originally targeted, Tracy and Nico had to plan their non-traditional wedding in much less time than the usual for other couples. However, with help from family and friends, they were able to get everything done in just one month. "It really is possible to create your dream wedding in a month. There was really nothing to worry about," shares Tracy.
The décor and music at the wedding were all labors of love from the couple and their families. To further share the love outside their celebration, the couple decided to donate to the Tuloy Foundation in lieu of giving out traditional souvenirs.
Tracy and Nico's wedding was about more than just coming together as a couple, but also about uniting the two families.
