Love Story
Tin and Benjo became a couple when they were still juniors in high school in South Cotabato. When they graduated from high school, they both pursued their studies at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, allowing them to spend time with each other. However, time came when Benjo had to go back to their hometown to attend to their family business--and so the two embarked on a challenging long-distance relationship.
The couple's solid foundation as friends allowed them to weather the storms together. After over a decade of being with Tin, Benjo finally popped the question with the help of some friends. Instead of giving her answer right away, Tin asked Benjo if he had already asked for her parents' permission. When Benjo confirmed that he had already talked to Tin's family, Tin happily said yes.

Wedding Preparations
Tin and Benjo wanted a timeless affair, and so they filled their wedding with classic details. The couple picked an elegant palette of plum, raspberry pink, and silver, and laced their celebration with chic elements.
The bride was very particular about achieving cohesion among the various details. One way by which the couple achieved that was by incorporating the same damask pattern into several wedding elements. Tin and Benjo also tried to get their chosen suppliers early, because they knew that the ones they picked were always booked.
In the end, the couple's hands-on approach to their wedding allowed them to pull off a memorable wedding. The bride shares what she learned throughout the preparations. "Give guests souvenirs that are practical and that they can use or eat," she says.
