Love Story

She and Lau were classmates from third to sixth grade, but they didn't really talk to each other much. They then went to different high schools, and only ran into each other again in college. She had just transferred to Lau's school, and Lau easily developed a crush on her. He started texting her after getting her number from their common friends.

At that time, boxer Manny Pacquiao had an upcoming match. She and Lau made a bet on the fight's winner--if She lost, she would go out with Lau. She thought that Manny Pacquiao would win, but he lost to Erik Morales, and so She finally went on a date with Lau, but she insisted that they remain friends. Despite She's resistance, Lau was able to win her heart over a year after.

The couple enjoyed a strong relationship, and they agreed to have a civil wedding after five years of being together. While they were already planning their wedding, Lau still managed to surprise She with a proposal. One night, as they were about to sleep, Lau nagged She to open the windows. She was suspicious at first, but when she finally approached the window, she found a note with Lau's proposal. Lau then presented her with a ring--and She said yes.

The couple planned their wedding from abroad, but they were still able to work on several do-it-yourself projects. Among their crafts were the invitations, place cards, and ceremony accessories, which made their affair exude warmth. She and Lau's reception was also an endearing one, as it featured special performances and audio-visual presentations.

As they prepared for their wedding, the couple learned several things. The bride shares, "Do your research! Find the right suppliers to make your dream wedding come true." The couple also determined their priorities by investing in their photographer and videographer. "You may not have a designer gown or expensive flowers but if you have a good photographer and videographer, they can make your wedding look beautiful, and all the memories will be captured forever," She says.
