People often forget that a wedding is more than just a celebration of two people coming together--it is also a celebration of families uniting. Sabs and Mike, however, did not. Theirs was the first wedding for the children of both families, and the couple wanted to make the celebration really heartfelt.

Like most couples, Sabs and Mike assigned relatives as members of the entourage. However, the couple took things a step further. Instead of having different song and dance numbers during the reception program, members of their families gave speeches and shared words of wisdom with the couple. Also, the reception felt like one great family affair. Guests were made to feel very welcome by the warm and homey ambiance. Even though Sabs and Mike had a simple celebration, they made their big day quite unforgettable because they shared the day with the people dearest to them.
