Love Story

Mara and Dave grew up together in Bukidnon. They were neighbors who often saw each other during school breaks and special occasions, since their fathers are also friends. Mara and Dave's friendship eventually bloomed into romance, and they enjoyed 10 years of being a couple before Dave decided to pop the question.

Dave set the stage for his proposal by arguing with Mara the night before he planned to ask her to marry him. He didn't call or send any messages the following morning, but instead, he picked up Mara from work. Mara found this unusual, since her workplace was far from his. He had intended to bring Mara to Sacred Heart Chapel and propose to her there, but because there were ghost stories about the woods surrounding the chapel, the couple just decided to head home.
