Karen and Mick met as college freshmen at the Ateneo de Manila University. Mick fell in love with Karen easily, and he showed his interest by treating her with special regard. He would assist her with her tasks, and usually accompanied her around school. Eventually, Karen felt the same way about Mick, too.
After ten years of being with Karen, Mick realized that the time was right for them to tie the knot. He made his proposal memorable by treating Karen to Tian Di Spa, where he reserved the first floor. Aside from presenting Karen with spa treatments, food, and flowers, he also gave her a ring as he popped the question. Floored by his efforts, Karen said yes.
Karen and Mick love watching movies together, and so they thought that Hollywood would be a great inspiration for their wedding. The couple chose to have their celebration at Marriot Hotel Manila, and the wedding theme complemented the hotel's interiors.
While the couple didn't busy themselves with any DIY projects, the bride was very hands-on with planning the wedding. She worked closely with their suppliers to make sure that the different wedding elements reflected the couple's personalities. By doing that, the couple pulled off the wedding that they had envisioned.
The bride shares that taking time to choose their suppliers carefully helped them a lot. She tells other couples, "There are so many good suppliers out there that you will only get to know of after a bit of planning and research."
