Like many Pinoy couples, Janine and Johannes held their wedding in December to take advantage of the nippy weather. While the couple chose the peak month for local weddings, Janine and Johannes took things a notch higher by incorporating a winter theme into the celebration.

Pulling off a winter-themed wedding in a tropical country is no mean feat, but events stylist Henry Pascual rose above the challenge. The couple's reception venue--bedecked with white flowers, feathers and twigs--looked very much like a winter wonderland. Blue and violet lights also helped in achieving that cool ambiance. Of course, winter wouldn't be winter without snow, and so artificial snow fell on the couple as they danced. Though Janine and Johannes' wedding appeared cold and frosty, the happiness among their guests kept the atmosphere warm.
